Counseling Services in Boulder, CO

Whether you’re carrying the weight of a pattern you can’t seem to shake, navigating a relationship at a crossroads, or sensing that something deeper in you is asking for attention — you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I work with individuals and couples in Boulder, Colorado, helping them move from fear-based reactions and old protective patterns into choices grounded in clarity, compassion, and authentic connection. My approach blends body-centered awareness, mindfulness, and relational insight with genuine human presence — and it meets you exactly where you are.

Below are the primary ways I work. If you’re unsure which is the right fit, I invite you to reach out for a brief, no-cost consultation.

Individual Therapy

You may be carrying anxiety, depression, grief, or the quiet exhaustion of patterns that keep showing up — in relationships, in work, in the way you talk to yourself. Maybe a major life change has left you unsure of who you are now, or you’re simply aware that something in you is ready to shift, even if you can’t quite name it yet.

Individual therapy creates a grounded, compassionate space to slow down, attend to what’s true, and gently uncover the places where you’ve been stuck. Together we work toward greater clarity, emotional freedom, and a deeper, more nourishing relationship with your authentic self.

My role is to guide you back to yourself — your courage, your inner knowing, and the deeper truth of who you are.

This work may be for you if…

  • You feel stuck in emotional cycles you can’t break out of
  • Anxiety, depression, or grief is affecting your daily life
  • A life transition has left you searching for new footing
  • Relationships keep following the same painful patterns
  • You’ve lost touch with your sense of purpose or inner spark
  • You’re ready to do real, lasting inner work

This work may be for you if…

  • The same arguments keep circling back without resolution
  • A quiet distance has grown between you and your partner
  • You’re healing from betrayal or a breach of trust
  • You’re at a major decision point in your relationship
  • You want to deepen intimacy and genuine connection
  • You need clarity about whether to stay or move on

Couples Therapy

Every relationship carries its blind spots. The conflict that keeps circling back to the same place. The quiet distance that’s grown over time. The sense that you and your partner are speaking different languages — even when you both want the same things.

I work with couples at every stage: breaking cycles, healing from betrayal, deciding about the future, or simply deepening what’s already good between you. We work toward something more nourishing than compromise — genuine mutual understanding, renewed intimacy, and a partnership that reflects who you both are becoming.

You can have both freedom and belonging in the same relationship. I’m here to help you find your way there.

Spiritual Counseling

Some of what we carry doesn’t fit neatly into clinical language. A shifting relationship with faith. Questions about meaning, purpose, or what it really means to live from your true self. A felt sense that something deeper is asking to be integrated — the kind of knowing that lives in the body and soul, not just the mind.

Spiritual counseling weaves these dimensions into our work rather than setting them aside. Whether you’re rooted in a specific tradition or exploring more broadly, we create space for your inner life — your soul-level wisdom, your connection to something larger — to be part of the healing.

This is therapy for the whole of who you are.

This work may be for you if…

  • Your faith or spiritual framework has shifted or feels uncertain
  • Questions of meaning and purpose are at the center of your struggle
  • You want your inner life to be part of the healing conversation
  • You’re seeking integration of the psychological and the spiritual
  • You sense a deeper wisdom within you that’s asking to be heard
  • You want to reconnect with something larger than yourself

A Deeply Integrative Approach

No single method holds all the answers. Over more than 20 years of practice, I’ve drawn from a wide range of therapeutic traditions — always in service of the same intention: to meet you where you are and help you access the healing that’s already within you.

My work is grounded in body-centered therapy and Hakomi, with strong roots in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Inner Child work. I also draw from the Enneagram, Breathwork, Effortless Mindfulness, and somatic and creative practices such as SoulCollage and Visualization — weaving together what each person or couple needs rather than applying a single framework to everyone.

Also drawing from: Inner Child work, Parts work, Loch Kelly Effortless Mindfulness, Re-imagining & Visualization, SoulCollage, and the teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza.

Begin the Work

Our work begins exactly where you are — emotionally, spiritually, and practically. Whether you’re ready to take small, careful steps or something more transformative, we move at a pace that honors your nervous system, your intuition, and your goals.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation, or you’re welcome to reach out to schedule an introductory session.
