Spiritual Counseling for Healing, Growth & Inner Transformation in Boulder, CO
Welcome! If you’ve found your way here, something in you is ready for deeper clarity, spiritual expansion and or healing, or a more intimate relationship with your own soul and spirit.
You’re ready to stop living your life chasing after another’s idea of happiness or success.
My Spiritual Counseling work in Boulder, Colorado weaves together many years of training with lived spiritual practice and experience to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom, navigate spiritual challenges, and open into the freedom that is already here.

My approach is grounded, compassionate, practical, and deeply attuned to the spiritual and soulful dimensions of being human. Some of my clients identify as spiritual. Some don’t identify with believing in anything. Some aren’t sure what they believe but they are curious. What matters most is your sincere desire for growth, healing, and connection.
I hold a space where all parts of you are welcome.
People seek me out for many reasons, but their deeper longing is almost always the same: to live a life guided by clarity, connection, and inner freedom -by a sense of belonging, safety and wholeness regardless of life’s circumstances.
Why People Come to Me for Spiritual Counseling
Spiritual Resourcing
You may feel disconnected from yourself or from something deeper and infinite, from a sense of oneness and wholeness. The sense of separateness you feel may cause intense angst, anxiety or emptiness. Together we cultivate grounded spiritual practices that reconnect you to your wisdom, intuition, inner strength and eventually to what some call awake awareness that already is and others call the infinite, quantum field or the divine. My dedication is to help you awaken to remembering who you really are, and that your connection to the greater whole is always available.
Spiritual Growth
Maybe you’re on a spiritual path that feels meaningful but confusing at times. You want support in exploring, reflecting, and tools that help you heal and or grow in a steady, integrated way.
Spiritual Healing
Old wounds, painful experiences, or past trauma may still influence your life. Spiritual healing helps release what weighs you down so your true essence can shine more clearly and joyfully.
What Spiritual Counseling With Me Feels Like
My work blends Presence, intuition, psychological insight, and profound respect for your unique path. Sessions often feel like:
I don’t impose belief systems. I don’t teach dogma. Instead, I help you reconnect with the inner guidance you already are/have.
Spiritual Counseling is not about bypassing the human experience—it’s about meeting it fully, with clarity, compassion, courage and a wider perspective that can bring relief, insight and creativity.

Stages of Spiritual Development
Understanding where you are on the spiritual path helps normalize your experience and clarifies the next steps. I draw from different teachings as well as my won experiences as supportive map points—never as rigid rules.
Spiritual Exploration
Some people come simply to explore—Who am I, beneath my thoughts and roles? What is consciousness, and what does consciousness have to do with living a joyful life? What is my relationship to the Divine, Source, or the Infinite Field? How do I live both as a finite and infinite Being.
“You are already the awakeness that you seek.”
~ Loch Kelly
Grief & Loss
Grief is holy. When we turn toward it with compassion, it opens us to deeper love. I provide spiritual and emotional support for death, loss, endings, and transitions.
Spiritual Blind Spots, Blocks & Traps
It’s common to get caught in patterns such as over-efforting, bypassing emotions, spiritual perfectionism, identifying as parts of your personality or engaging subtle self or other-judgment on the path. Awareness with sincerity dissolves these gently and naturally.
Religious Trauma & Religious Betrayal
If your early experiences with religion were controlling, shaming, or misaligned with love, it can be painful and confusing to rebuild trust with your spiritual life. We work slowly, safely, and respectfully to heal these wounds.
Healing from Teacher or Spiritual Leader Misuse of Power
This is far more common than most people realize. Healthy spirituality restores healthy sovereignty, safety, and authentic connection.
“If you want to connect to and live from the divine, the quantum field or your soulful spirit, you can — and it entails burning through your conditioning (Psychological, cultural, generational, ancestral). I would be honored to support you on your journey.”
~ Jamie Brennan
My Spiritual Counseling Approach
My work is holistic and integrative. I blend psychological, somatic, spiritual, and consciousness-based modalities to meet you exactly where you are. Some of the approaches I draw on include:
Enneagram
A powerful tool for understanding unconscious personality patterns, blind spots, growth edges, and spiritual gifts.
EMDR
A research-supported method for trauma healing that helps release emotional blocks and restore clarity and calm.
Hakomi
A gentle, body-centered mindfulness method that helps you access unconscious material with safety and compassion.
Parts Work & Internal Family Systems
We explore the parts of you that need attention—protectors, inner critics, inner wounded children, wise parts as well as others—and integrate them into wholeness.
Inner Child Healing
Many spiritual struggles originate from unmet childhood needs and experiencing a disconnection from wholeness. Healing your inner child creates profound spiritual and emotional freedom, and fortifies your attachments in healthy and satisfying ways.
“The soul would much rather fail at its own life than succeed at someone else’s.“
~ David Whyte
SoulCollage
A creative and intuitive process that connects you to the symbolic and soulful dimensions of your inner world and wisdom.
Loch Kelly’s Effortless Mindfulness
A direct, experiential approach to awakening and non-dual awareness.
Breath Work
Gentle or deeper breath practices that support emotional release, grounding, and clarity.
Dr. Joe Dispenza & Dr. David Hawkins Teachings
I incorporate principles of energetic alignment, consciousness levels, and mind-body healing when appropriate.
Silent Meditation Practices
Drawing from many traditions, I offer grounded guidance for meditation that’s accessible, stabilizing, and deeply supportive.
My undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology included the study of world religions and spiritual traditions across cultures. I learned something valuable from every one of them, and that diversity informs my work today.
“We’re meant to work with the ego, not banish it, letting our true Self lead so that one day all of our Being shines like the distant stars that inspire us.”“
~ Jamie Brennan
Avoiding Spiritual Bypass, Psychological Underpass & Other Traps
On the path, it’s easy to get caught in what is often referred to as the “spiritual traps”:
- Spiritual bypass
- Psychological underpass
- Cognitive overpass
- Meditation to avoid attending
- Longing for or chasing a past spiritual high experience
- Feeling “above it all”
- Perfectionism
- Overthinking
- Shame
- Caretaking everyone else
- Workaholism
- Numbing out
- Avoidance or over-efforting
I’ve fallen into many of them myself. Awareness brings us back. Spiritual growth isn’t about becoming perfect—it’s about learning to stay present with whatever is here without collapsing into reaction or trying to escape it.
Being free doesn’t mean challenges disappear. It means you no longer lose yourself in them, or at least not for very long because the healthy alternative has been well practiced so is readily accessible to you.
Understanding the Stages of Spiritual Development
I find Michael Bernard Beckwith’s stages to be straightforward, simple and helpful guideposts along the path:
1. Victim Consciousness — “Life is happening to me.”
Invitation: release blame, reclaim empowerment.
2. Manifestor Consciousness — “Life is happening by me.”
Invitation: create with intention, creativity, attention, trust, and less controlling.
3. Channel or Instrument Consciousness — “Life is happening through me.”
Invitation: release the sense of separation and allow life to express through you.
4. One Consciousness — “Life is happening as me.”
Invitation: rest as oneness with Source, God, the Infinite Field, the Quantum Field. (One spiritual trap is to do this without staying conscious and relational in your relationships.)
I personally experience myself most often in the second and third stages, with occasional slips back into the first and extended moments in the fourth. I am personally dedicated to a natural growing into the fourth level: One Consciousness. Sharing this helps you understand the perspective and ability from which I support you.
Who I Work With
I work with:
- Individuals wanting spiritual growth
- People who have done a significant amount of parts work and are ready to experience more ease
